for Emerging Performing Artists
Since 2004, the ACT Festival has been promoting emerging international artists who, with their innovative proposals, are defining the scene of the future.
Four days to experience the living arts, attending performances, courses, workshops or reflection sessions in Bilbao and Barakaldo on the different stages of the festival.
ACT is a competition for creators, a meeting place for artists and audiences, and a renowned performing arts fair that brings together programmers from all over the world.
ACT Festival has also been part of an international network of festivals that seeks to promote artists who are just starting out. It formed this network together with BE Festival in Birmingham, ITs Festival in Amsterdam, SHORT Theatre in Rome and MESS Festival in Sarajevo.
