Finale

Finale is a classical dance piece that uses architecture as a support for movement. This work represents the final result of a research process that began with the previous project, Uno, where we inserted classical dance sequences. After the complex adaptation of this discipline to a vertical plane and observing its possibilities, we continued with this research that concludes with the creation of this piece. Finale offers the spectator the possibility of enjoying classical dance in a new scenic space, decontextualizing it, transferring a ballet to a city façade or a natural space. It reproduces famous classical pieces that the public will identify, compiling elements from the ballets “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker” and “Giselle”, among others.
