‘Material’ is about putting those ideas that were left in a drawer, back on their feet. Like the croquettes, which are made from the leftovers of the stew and are delicious. The play has already started, but Alida doesn’t want to leave the dressing room. Laura is pissed off waiting on stage. She finally manages to convince Alida to come out, but she appears dressed as a cockroach. Alida proposes that, instead of performing ‘Material’, they perform ‘Cucarachas’, an attempt at a play that was rejected in the previous call for entries. Laura won’t be amused by this… But the audience will be very happy 😉 Which play will they finally perform?

Teatro de los chinos was created in 2022 by Alida Molina and has two shows on tour. Paral-lel’ and “Material”. It is a company with a rogue vibe, fresh, with new dramaturgy but with a very large audience due to its humour and humility.
