“Repopulating the soul in mask time” is a ritual performance of body and performative theatre based on Grotowsky’s principles. Inspired by a real event about COVID and the existential and philosophical consequences of surviving it. Four performers immerse themselves in a scenic journey full of images, physical risk and extreme emotion through their bodies, giving life to a meta-theatrical text. A liturgical act that confronts life and death on stage in a metaphysical theatre production.

“MARAVILLA THEATER is a multidisciplinary contemporary theatre company that creates original productions based on research into the language of the performer’s body – “Corporal Poetic Narraturgy or Poetic Narrative of the Body” – in multiple stage formats. The discourse is immersed in a clear historical, political and social denunciation context. His productions are authentic performances of interpretative authenticity in which the actors break with the theatrical convention of the character and experience in their own flesh all the strength and emotional power of the show.
In her productions she deepens the actor/spectator relationship. The aim of the performer is to create a space of intimacy and provocation through theatrical ritual and to channel together “the stage experience”. The company was founded in 2016 by actor, director and playwright Daniel Naranjo, from the Workshop: “Performance is not theatre; nor is the actor a character”.
