Daniel Naranjo Sotomayor
Founder, director and playwright of the contemporary theatre company Maravilla Theater. He has developed his own methodology of working with the actor’s body through his Laboratory and his technique of ‘corporal poetic narrative’ as a creator of the dramatic architecture of the body. Her influences include physical theatre and performance, as well as the revision of classics such as Grotowsky and new American trends such as Ann Bogart among others.
Her creations include: ‘Torchusspanik, intimate visions of the reproductive crisis’ by Mirjam Neidhart, Nau Ivanow, BCN 2010. ‘Hamlet Radikal’ winner of the III Muestra de Teatro Breve, Porta 4 (BCN, 2019), “B HATE”, and recently “Repoblar el alma en tiempo de mascarilla”. He has also participated as a scriptwriter in ‘Little White Dove’ official selection ‘New Territories’ at the Venice Festival 2003 and ‘Marcel’ winner of multiple awards at the international Festival ‘48 hours’ New Orleans, 2013.
His training includes Eugenio Barba, Thomas Ostermeier, Rodrigo García, ESCAC, Magda Puyo and Alfredo Castro among others. His productions have been performed in cities such as Barcelona, Santiago de Chile and Kiev. He has held several workshops related to his proposal on the actor’s work.

A workshop designed to introduce participants to the Feldenkrais Method.
➡Using mindful movement and strategies to increase awareness, this session will enable you to learn new ways to move more easily by reducing effort, directing your attention and improving the quality of your intention. Participants will work with functional movement patterns, such as sitting and standing, and explore in a practical way how doing less can often achieve more. This workshop is suitable for students, artists and anyone interested in developing an understanding of their own physicality.
Teresa Brayshaw is a theatre maker, writer, creativity coach and Feldenkrais practitioner. She has worked for 35 years in the sectors of higher education and European drama schools.
In addition to her ‘pure practice’ as a Feldenkrais teacher, she applies her interest in neuroplasticity and creativity to teaching, writing and professional theatre. She works as a director, performer and collaborator in various international, interdisciplinary and intergenerational projects. She is co-editor of Twentieth & Twenty First Century Performance Readers (2013, 2020 Routledge).
