This year ACT festival has received a total of 1051 proposals for the competition of short pieces by emerging artists; it has been a great success thanks to your collaboration.

Of these 1051 proposals: 447 in the Dance category, 318 in Physical Theater, 228 in Performance, 52 in Circus and 6 in others that are not identified with the four previous categories.

We received proposals from companies, groups, collectives and artists from all over the world, resulting in 63.7% of international proposals, 33.7% from Spain and 2.6% from the Basque Country.

This year the international proposals are predominant, having received 386 from Europe, 155 from Latin America, 80 from Asia and 26 from Africa.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for sending us your proposals. We are very grateful for the welcome and the interest shown in the festival. At this moment we are in the last part of the selection process and we are looking forward to include this diversity of proposals in an exciting festival.
