ACT FESTIVAL 8–9 June, 10am–2pm, at BAI
Free workshop led by Miguel Jiménez
This workshop aims to encourage performers who wish to explore creativity from a perspective that is more closely aligned with their personal and creative nature. The primary objective of the workshop is to recognise and develop the dancer’s psychophysical qualities in order to explore the expressive and communicative possibilities offered by the stage.
The workshop is designed as a dynamic laboratory that goes beyond the purely choreographic, shifting the focus to the exploration of different theatrical codes through the use of various movement techniques.
The educational aim is to explore the possibilities of stage creation. That is why the workshop is aimed at both dancers and any other artists who place the body at the centre of their practice (actors, performers, circus artists, etc.).
