A comical physical mask play about life’s expectations, decisions and conditioning. We all have to choose permanently from an ungrateful abundance of possibilities – and live with our decision. Our cartoon character Eve is being pushed around by a relentless voice. How absurd is the binary division into “right” and “wrong”?

Jule and Isabel, both members of Bröcker & Schmier, met in 2017 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, where Jule studied Puppet and object animation and Isabel Voice Acting. They bonded over their shared love for puns, pubs and poetry (in the sense of theatre but that ain’t got a P), decided to make art together, and have so far produced three full-length Edinburgh Fringe shows, a mask short-form and three miniature films together, always mixing their interest in words and visuals.
