Asmed-Balletto di Sardegna ASMED (Sardinian Association for Music and Dance) operates in the field of culture and live performance since 1979; in 1982 Asmed creates the dance company Balletto di Sardegna, the first contemporary dance company in Sardinia to be officially recognized by national institutions. Asmed-Balletto di Sardegna focuses in experimenting the multifarious languages of contemporary dance and in researching new contaminations among the arts. The company collaborates with international choreographers and dancers such as B. Stevenson, J.Fontano, T. O’Connor, A. Lucas, Ph. Gutelius, M. Moricone, G.Cauley, C. Wildisen, F. André, Robert North, M. Bigonzetti, M. Cantalupo, M.Piazza, Dino Verga, G. Tuveri, M. Coccetti, Mark Sieczkarek, Suzanne Linke. The Company performed at international festivals in US, France, Spain, Poland, Germany.
