Since 2004, the ACT Festival promotes international emerging artists who, with their innovative proposals, are defining the scene of the future.
Four days to experience the living arts, attending shows, courses, workshops or reflection sessions in Bilbao and Barakaldo in the different stages of the festival.
ACT is a competition for creators, a meeting place for artists and audiences, and a renowned performing arts fair that brings together programmers from around the world.
ACT Festival is also part of an international network of festivals that seeks to promote those artists who are just starting out. It forms this network together with BE Festival in Birmingham, ITs Festival in Amsterdam, SHORT Theatre in Rome and MESS Festival in Sarajevo.
